With materialistic gains in mind, the education today has forgotten to instil in our youngsters the ideals and values of being a true Indian. The spiritual enrichment and the age-old culture of India has been facing severe drought. Moral values are becoming susceptible to degeneration in today’s society. It is indeed unfortunate if our children are not brought up with the five precious values of Satya, Dharma, Shanti, Prema and Ahimsa, which make the very foundation of our culture.

With this in mind, numerous Satya Sai schools in India and abroad have taken it as their mission to strengthen these values in our youngsters. According to Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, “Education is for life, not for a living”. The Sai Educational Mission is based on His philosophy of Educare – His philosophy of education hailed as a landmark change in an era where education is an industry that is commercially motivated and focused on wealth creation and employment. The curriculum of the school is aligned to Sri Satya Sai Vidya Vahini, a value-education program that embeds human values into the regular subjects.

This helps students develop a wholesome and balanced personality, one where academic competence is supplemented with good character. The objective is to achieve a balance between the head, heart and hands along with an ideal blend of ability and nobility.We consider it our great privilege to be able to serve the country towards this goal.

The school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE DELHI) in the year 1996 with the Affiliation number 2430050. Grade A has been awarded to KAMAL JYOTI VIDHYA PEETH (Sai Institute of Education and Research) by the Institute of Sathya Sai Education National Committee Mumbai. This is the only private school in Kalimpong Sub – Division in the district of Darjeeling which is affiliated to CBSE, Delhi. It is situated 2 kms. away from Kalimpong town.The school has classes from Nursery to 12, having Science, Commerce and Arts stream.
